About Louie
Hi, I’m Louie and I’m passionate about music and supporting young learners. I'm in Grade 10 and am working towards my Certificate of Performance in Flute. I also have experience playing instruments like the recorder, clarinet, French horn, saxophone, piccolo, piano, and violin, and have passed many practical and theory AMEB exams. When I was in Grade 8, I received the AMEB Silver Award, and then the AMEB Gold Award in Grade 9.
I’m a member of four ensembles at Young Conservatorium on three instruments, and I play in six ensembles at school and support two others as an assistant. I've also competed in many eisteddfods, attended SHEP Queensland and participated in auditions at places like Griffith Young Conservatorium.
My goal is to guide primary school students through their musical journeys, from learning basic skills to preparing for their practical exams, dealing with stage fright, getting ready for eisteddfods and auditions, and learning music theory, as well as answering individual questions about the music field and playing in ensembles that younger students may have.
